US Family Health Plan
For the last eight years Mount Holly Surgical Supply has been an exclusive partner with the US Family Health Plan (USFHP). Because of our long history – in business since 1972 – and our commitment to excellence in customer service and fulfillment operations, USFHP trusts us by sending regular patient referrals to our medical equipment company.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense and part of the Defence Health Agency (DHA) and Military Health System (MHS), the US Family Health Plan is a healthcare insurance plan that exclusively serves the military and their family members.
USFHP provides health insurance coverage in six different areas of the United State, sixteen states as well as Washington D.C. The USFHP network of providers have been providing healthcare solutions to military families for over 30 years.
The US Family Health Plan is a TRICARE Prime option available through various networks of community-based, not-for-profit healthcare systems in the United States.
TRICARE is the civilian care channel of the Military Health System. TRICARE provides healthcare benefits to U.S Armed Forces military personnel, retirees, and their dependents. TRICARE also provides health care benefits to some members of the Armed Forces Reserves.
USFHP members don’t get health care services at military facilities or from the TRICARE network of providers when you are enrolled in the US Family Health Plan. Instead, you get your care from a primary provider you select from the network of private physicians affiliated with one of the not-for-profit health care systems that are part of the US Family Health Plan network. Your primary care provider assists in coordinating your care and setting appointments with specialists.
